To disappear and to be nothing

Raphaël I've been listening to "To Disappear And To Be Nothing" non-stop for weeks now and my enjoyment still continues to grow.

Personally, it gives rise to strong feelings of sehnsucht and possesses a similar energy to their single "Everything Is Worse", yet leads you more towards stoic contemplation with a hint of melancholia rather than despair & sorrow.

It's such a nice experience.

Very few works of art have hit me like this.

There's something here worth exploring. Favorite track: When a dark age comes, hold the light inside.

Sonny92 After being initially unsure of this, it suddenly clicked in my brain and I finally realised what a brilliant piece of work it is. Cerebral and progressive doom metal that isn't just a relentless journey through misery, but a sometimes melancholy, sometimes uplifting experience. The vocals were part of the reason for my initial reticence, but I soon realised were actually one of it's strengths, the clean vocal style allowing the music to dictate the emotional atmosphere. An unexpected triumph! Favorite track: When a dark age comes, hold the light inside.

Bucky Oh ya, right away the drumming and serrated riffs collide with the epic vocal howls giving the aura of true doom by way of somber atmosphere and chilling grace.
